The Duke Ellington Room
Duke Ellington, probably the most significant jazz composer in history, is the muse for this sleeping room at Fountain Chateau. Along with a musical motif, including an artistic rendering of a piano, guests are treated to a king bed in celebration of the legendary composer and bandleader.
The George Gershwin Room
Named for the Broadway and Hollywood composer, George Gershwin, the décor of this room is brought to life with images of musical notes. Guests will find comfort in the king bed amid the aura of Jazz and Classical scores of the 1920's and 1930's.
The Monet Room
Impressionism at its best! The Monet Room welcomes guests with images from the Impressionist period. Named for artist, Claude Monet, this room celebrates the landscapes and changing light made worldly famous and immediately recognizable by this gifted artist.
The Van Gogh Room
Caregivers do you need respite? A King room on the first floor that is equipped for our guest with limitations or restrictions. Whether more famous for his complexity than his artistic ability, French painter Vincent Van Gogh's work prescribes the subject matter for this room. Whether a catalyst for conversation or observation, guests will find plenty to converse about or observe.
The Elizabeth Barrett Browning Room
The Elizabeth Browning Room is adorned with an embroidered heirloom vintage floral quilt. This beautiful king room, almost as beautiful as Browning's verses, is fashioned in taupe and beige and is the only room at Fountain Chateau that lays claim to a full bathtub.
The Ralph Waldo Emerson Room
A Harvard taught writer and once Unitarian minister, Ralph Waldo Emerson is an inspiration for all things natural. Written works of art by Emerson flank the furnishings of the room for middle of the night reading pleasure.
The Orient
A motif reminiscent of the Far East, these sleeping quarters are décor-filled with oriental accoutrements that will awaken you in a queen bed somewhere in Eastern Asia. In-room accessories include bathrobes, slippers, hair dryers, iron and ironing board. There is a pedestal sink and walk-in shower in this room.
Out of Africa
No "call of the wild" here! Accommodations in Out of Africa celebrate the cradle of mankind. Dawn and dusk in these quarters ascend and descend in the midst of a safari sanctuary where the animals that live here roam still and in silence inside the décor, and for once are the observers.
Arrival Information—Flexible check-in and check-out time
Check-in is between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. There is a late check-in procedure if an arrival after 10:00 pm is expected. Please contact the Innkeeper for details. Doors will be locked after 10:00 pm, and no outside visitors are allowed in after 10:00 pm. Call for more details.
Accessible Rooms
There are special rates for wheelchair accessible rooms. Caregivers do you need respite? Fountain Chateau B&B is totally handicap accessible. A King room on the first floor is equipped for guest with limitation or restrictions. Please contact the Innkeeper for special discounted rates.
